Mustard Seed Foundation visits Los Angeles area

Welcome back! Your ideas matter here!

Some of our clients who are church based ministries have partnered with the Mustard Seed Foundation. They will be in the Los Angeles area to provide information to prospective grant seekers. I recommend you take note of a meeting near you. No RSVP or registration is required, just show up.

This is the information that I have received:

Last year, the MSF awarded 137 new projects around the world, to local churches located in megacities like Jakarta, Lima, Mexico City, Cairo, Bogota, and Los Angeles. The Foundation also paid out grants and scholarships that were approved in previous years, all together, we paid out just under $4.8 million to over 880 projects and scholarships around the world.

So far this year the Foundation has paid out $3.3 million to over 530 projects and scholarships, with the goal of paying out a total of over $5 million worldwide.

We will be looking to partner with congregations with a parish mentality; that are ministering to the people in their own specific neighborhoods.

The Foundation does NOT fund building acquisition, construction, or rehab projects. The MSF does not give funding for vans or vehicles. The Foundation does not supply funds for on going costs. We do not like to get involved in citywide events or mass evangelism that make use of TV or radio or the passing out of tracts.

The Foundation is looking to help fund smaller, targeted, relational projects.
